Five Painted Tunbridge Ware mini reels / spools which would have been on a metal rod fitted across a compartment in a Georgian sewing box with similarly decorated tools. I've put them on a rod to show how they were placed but they are single, removable spools.
There are two long reels on either end and three shorter ones in the middle but as they are loose they could be swapped or reduced in number to fit your box.
All five would measure 12cm together
Individually the three small ones are 2cm long and the larger 3cm.
In good condition- the coloured rings are well defined and there is no damage to the wood other than a few worm holes on the end of one which don't go right through and have been treated. (see photo)
