A needle case / book in burgundy leather with decorative gold tooling in the corners and on the edge. Both sides have an inset panel of petit point flowers.
Inside it is lined in a figured green paper and has a rather moth eaten piece of cloth for the needles. The silk ties are still attached though fragile.

In very good condition other than the moth holes in the needle cloth which could easily be swapped few a fresh piece and a few little dark areas at the edge of the inset needlework panel on one side which can be seen in the photos.
