A bone lace bobbin dyed green and with brass wiring. The top section of turning is red and looks like it might be sealing wax rather than dye. A chunky bobbin-1cm across.
The spangle has old glass beads.
In good condition.
NB. Lace making was a cottage industry using domestic animal bone and local soft woods.
