A bone lace bobbin inscribed horizontally with a name and death details.
'Hannah Burlek di(e)d March 18th 1851 aged 52' (unfortunately the numbers are badly formed so the number 5's are my best guess!)
Unusually it has a shaped inlay of pewter top and bottom (the bottom one is loose but could be stuck down). It also has its old glass bead spangle.

NB. Lace making was a cottage industry using domestic animal bone and local soft woods.
