These two early Victorian buckles would have been worn by a lady on each wrist in the 1830s- 1840s. The intricate gilt metal frames are centred by white glass cameos on a grey ground of classical heads in profile.
The bracelets would have had beadwork bands attached through the holes in the two sections of each catch.
Each measures 5.5 x 5cm
In excellent condition- no damage and only lightly tarnished.
