An unusual turned wooden pot with a Tunbridge inlaid lid. Inside it is fitted with a corked glass bottle -possibly for use as a sander as it came in a box fitted with an inkwell. The wood is very dark possibly ebony or an ebonized native wood. The top is inlaid in a geometric pattern.
Just under 4.5cm high
Base diameter 3cm.
In excellent condition- no damage or repair and with the original varnished finish.
NB. The lid screw on lid is very stiff to turn and won't close completely leaving a 1mm gap between the top and base.
