A very unusual oval pin cushion made of metal but with a metallic finish resembling ice crystals- gold on one side and silver on the other. The pins fit into holes in the metal around the edge.
There is some spotting and light abrasion on the silver side but is in otherwise good condition.
Age unknown as this is the first I've seen but likely to be 1860s.
