An unusual woven red and gold brocade ribbon chatelaine long enough to tie around the waist with an attached pair of steel scissors, a pottery blue ground thimble with gold tracery in its own pocket plus a matching fabric needle folder. c1920-c1930.
The thimble has a pottery mark resembling a stylised hourglass (unidentified) and the scissors are stamped Nogent on one side and the letters Ps on the other.
The ivory coloured decorative rings have a distinct seam so they are made of early celluloid and not a natural material.
In excellent condition.
