A well made mother of pearl toothpick box. The shell is decoratively grooved on all sides except the base which is plain. The lid has a blank gold nameplate. Inside it is lined in a fawn coloured silk which has faded from the original pale blue, traces of which can be seen on the sides. The lid is set with old mirror glass and edged with a thin cord of chenille trim.
In excellent condition- no damage or repair.
