An embossed silver pin basket with a folding handle and yellow cushion. It dates to circa 1820-1830 and would have been part of a set in a leather etui. The handle folds down.
It is in excellent condition with no damage.
NB. The cushion feels like it is filled with emery rather than padding so would have been used to sharpen needles.
3.5cm high with the handle raised.
Just over 2.5cm with the handle folded.
