A bright cut Georgian silver bodkin case bottom stamped SP for Samuel Pemberton.
The engraving is still quite sharp and well defined and there are no splits or solder. There are two small depressions, on the lid and on the base section, caused by finger pressure when opening it but they are shallow.

The piece tapers in width from 1 cm to 0.75 cm and is of flattened form.
