An attractive tape measure which would have been part of a set of sewing tools along with spools, an emery and a thread waxer.
The pearl is carved with a double flower head and drilled with stars around the edge. The barrel section is made of domestic animal bone. The pale blue silk ribbon is a printed replacement.
