A wooden needle case with one panel inlaid with a dog and the other flowers. Inside the panels are backed by a chessboard design- dark woods on one cover and lighter woods on the other. The cloth for needles looks new and shows no signs of use.
The Tunbridge inlay is in excellent condition but the 'velvet' spine has lost all its nap and has a small split on each of the edges (see last photo) but a lovely piece none the less.
