An unusual design for a match safe- a baby complete with a rattle! The features are well defined and the wrap tied with bows.
There are no indications as to the maker but many novelty vestas were produced in the late 19th century through to the 1920s.
The base is a recessed presumably to take some paper to strike the matches on.
