A travelling corkscrew with a pearl handle and silver cover. The maker's initials are stamped on the base-SP for Samuel Pemberton a well known Birmingham silversmith of the late 18th and early 19th century.
In excellent condition-the steel corkscrew section is the correct length and there is no damage to the pearl or to the silver.
