An oversized mahogany snuff box in the shape of a boot complete with brass stud 'boot buttons'. There is also some decorative carving and shaping. The lid has a wooden hinge which lifts to reveal a space about 5 cm deep for the snuff. c 1870.

In excellent condition but with a small break in the wood at the hinge.  ( please see last photo )
