A pair of novelty mother of pearl boots which are knitting needle retainers. French c 1850
They are hand carved and are very slightly different in height ( 4 cm - 4.3 cm ) and are joined by a short orange and white flat cord.
Condition- no damage but there is a natural flaw in the pearl on one boot ( see last photo )
