A rare survivor- a paper case for pins. It is called 'The Daisy' and so has daisies printed on the front .On the back there's the profile of King William IV 'Reigned 1830-1837' and four vignettes depicting 'Revolution in Paris', 'Slavery Abolished', 'Capture of Hotel de Ville' and 'Festival in Barbados' on the back.

Inside there's a print of Dublin and pin papers with most of the original pins.

There's nothing to indicate the printer or exact age but the Dublin print shows horse driven vehicles and the date of the capture of the Hotel de Ville was 1870.

9 x 4.5cm

In pretty good condition- wear to the folds but no losses. Inside the pin paper is loose but could be reattached if desired. The pins are rusty in places.
