A Tunbridge Ware box containing eight gaming counters also in tunbridge. The box is made of turned rosewood with a tunbridgeware disc set into the lid. The eight counters are identical slices from the end of a block. c1840
The little box is 2.3 cm high ( 8/10ths inch ) x 3 cm in diameter ( 1.25 inches )
The counters are 2.3 cm in diameter ( 9/10ths inch)
In excellent condition- no damage to the pot and just one counter with a tiny bit missing from the edge ( see photo )
