An attractive cloth needle case in the form of a book with white and gold bead work on a red cross stitched ground. c 1860
Inside it is lined in cream silk and has a pocket containing card wrapped with thread made especially for it. In the back there's a stitched band meant for scissors, stiletto etc. and in between the two is cloth for loose needles.
In excellent condition- no wear or losses.
