A set of six reels with carved pearl tops and screw together stems and bases made of domestic animal bone. This style pre-dates the brass stems and would have been in a box around 1830-1840.
They are hand made so there are slight variations in the carving on the tops but the pattern is the same.
NB. The bases show the obvious black flecking of bone.
In excellent condition.
