The box is decorated with prints of Cheddar on the sides and on the lid-
'The Ivy Chair Rock, Sugar Loaf Rock, High Rock, Cheddar Church and on the lid The Hotel Gardens.'
Inside it is lined in blue velvet so it probably contained a glass bottle originally and was taken home as a souvenir perhaps bought at the hotel illustrated.
It is in good condition with no cracks or chips just some scratches in the finish and a little fading of the print on the front.
