An unusual gilt metal vesta / go to bed.
It is embossed on the base with the words-
Prince Albert's Safety Box 150 Patent Vesta Lights.
The metal is decoratively engraved and filled with red lacquer in parts. The lid, which incorporates a wax holder, is embossed with a cherub and foliage.
In excellent condition but with some age related wear and a small knock to the rim of the base. There are no contents.
