An item often found in Georgian sewing sets- tweezers with an ear spoon on the other end! Earwax was used to smooth fibres in thread before mercerization but a more genteel lady would use candle wax or beeswax held in a decorative holder!
An attractive silver piece none the less embossed with flowers and leaves.
