Two very unusual Tartan Ware reels. The reels have the name of the tartan in the usual gold on black- 'Royal Stuart' on one and 'McDuff' on the other. Each is topped by a mutton bone finial -fortunately the typical marking of bone are visible. The central section is ebonised.
4cm high.
Base and top diameters 2cm.
In excellent condition- no damage and the varnished finish is complete.
