An unusual late 18th century combination piece. The top section is a perpetual calendar, the base unscrews and inside there's a silver toothpick.
The calendar has a removable ring (it just lifts off) engraved with the initials of the days of the week so once set it will work for any year.
It is hall marked for Birmingham 1794.- there are two single letters a K and a W-either of which could be the date letter but the shape of the King's head suggests 1794.
In excellent condition- no damage.
