A matching pair -an early Victorian fruit knife and fruit fork used when eating soft fruit.
The pearl on each is chamfered and has an applied silver name plate inscribed 'R. Rob' in tiny lettering. The silver blade on the knife and the tines on the fork are hall marked for Sheffield 1844 maker AH for Aaron Hadfield.
The spring action on both is good and the silver cover on the spring is decorated with steps and cross hatching. The silver is its original length.
