Five little reels which would have been put onto steel rods running across a compartment in Georgian sewing boxes.
They are boxwood and have red / black stripes concentric lines on the central spindles but no other decoration and are unvarnished.
Three are wide- 2cm in diameter with the other two (not a pair) being narrower as can be seen in the photos.
The central three alone would measure 7cm fixed onto a spindle.
One of the narrower reels is 3cm long and the other just over 2cm.
In excellent condition-just one tiny nick out of an edge (see photos)
