An attractive miniature silver basket fitted with an emery cushion for sharpening the needle. English c 1830-1840
It is stamped under the handle with the maker's initials T&P ( Taylor & Perry )
The pattern is an unusual one being 'blind filigree' ie. filigree in design but against a solid silver background rather than just the wirework.
In excellent condition.
