An embossed silver propelling pencil stamped Asprey & Son and its matching leads case. The decoration on the pencil is of two birds amid flowers and leaves. The propelling pin works and all parts unscrew.
The case for the pencil leads is decorated with leaves and is stamped Asprey & Son on the top and M for the size of lead on the base.
In mint condition- the decoration on the silver is very crisp showing no signs of wear. There are no silver marks that I can find but it tests to sterling silver.
The leather case is marked George Spiller Wigmore Street London.
The case measures 12.5 x 3.5cm
The pencil when extended 11.5cm and when closed 9cm
The leads case just under 2.5cm x just under 1.5 cm
