An unusual pair of silver handled scissors from the Netherlands. The silver is engraved and the steel blades damascened. There are no marks. 19th century.
Condition-The finger ring on one handle is distorted and partially split but isn't in danger of breaking. However it would be very risky to try to correct it.
*It could be used on a Dutch chatelaine.
