A tall gilt metal pot embossed with fruit and flowers and with ivy leaves around the base. On the base there is a grooved surface for striking a light and the words-
'The Royal Safety Box for Wax Tapers and Vesta Lights'
The lid has a central holder for a candle and two small holders for a match.
In excellent condition - a small dent on the base rim and some rust inside but no damage.
