The framework is decorated with the various animals, birds and insects which took a part in preparing the funeral according to the story.\u003cbr\u003e The central section has a little hinged lid inscribed 'In Memory of Poor Cock Robin' and opens to reveal a coffin shape-some examples have a little printed picture of cock robin there but this one doesn't.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe base has two hinged flaps where the needle packets would go.\u003cbr\u003eThe impressed mark reads W Avery \u0026amp; Son Redditch and a diamond shaped design registration mark for 1880 and pattern no. 635.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn very good condition- no damage or missing parts (I've compared it to the Coulthart's images of it online-(an excellent resource for all Avery novelty cases). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe base measures 7.5 x 5cm\u003cbr\u003eHeight 3.5cm\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStock no.
