A small silver charm bracelet for a young girl. It has various miniature attachments-a rattle in the form of a shell, a pair of scissors, a thimble, a silver pail and two religious charms in the form of a rose.
The little rose charms are religious as one opens up to reveal the image of Joan of Arc with the basilica at Domremy on the other half. The other shows Saint Teresia with text on the other half- 'Je veux passer mon ciel a faire du bien sur la terre'.|
There are some silver marks- two Parisian boar's head silver marks- one on the pail and the other on the scissors but I can't see any others. There's also 'France' stamped onto the swivel section of the rose charms.
The age of the bracelet is unknown but the boar's head mark was introduced in 1838 for Parisian silver and is still in use but it's likely to be 20th century.
In excellent condition.
Length undone 11cm.
