A pristine black velvet case stamped in gold containing needles. Each 'page' of cloth has a gilt metal tag detailing the type of needle plus there's an insert under the right hand pocket explaining the different uses.
The press stud is stamped Newey Patent 201430-22 which suggests a mid 20th century date c1940-1950. The velvet is stamped in gilt with a few needles under which the maker can just be read-Milward. It also states that there were 102 needles inside!
In excellent condition- it looks untouched.
