An early silver porte crayon stamped with the assay mark for Birmingham, the letter X and maker's mark T&WS for Thomas & William Simpson. 1821 was the year they first registered their mark and the hallmark is for that year. It has a seal end cap engraved with the initials PA.
In excellent condition- no splits, dents or repairs.
