A small, Georgian slide lidded box with a print of the Brighton Marine Pavilion built for the Prince of Wales by Henry Holland before the Nash alterations in 1815.
The white wood box has a pink label under the old varnish titled The Pavilion Brighton'. There is some simple black flecking around the top and around the print.
In good condition- the varnished finish is the original and so does show wear in places. The inside is lined in the old pink paper often seen in boxes of this period.
