A pair of all silver fruit knives used for cutting soft fruit. They are identical and made by the same maker except for the original owner's initials engraved on the front and that one is shorter than the other. They were likely to have been a private order for a husband and wife or siblings.
Maker H&T for Hilliard and Thomason. Birmingham 1893 / 1894.
*The difference in the year is because then the letter for the next year changed in July (it changes on January 1st now) so they could have been assayed when part of a separate batch only days apart.
