An interesting Continental souvenir sewing clamp in cut steel with a gripper for use when hemming, a rotating spindle and a steel post used when netting.
The screw for fixing it onto a table is engraved with silvery flowers on one side and with flowers and an inscription on the other- 'Andenken HP 1857'. There are traces of bluing to the steel.
