A Painted Tunbridge Ware bowl containing a pinky brown velvet pin cushion and with a short loop of cord. The wood is painted with flowers in red and green and with the more common concentric circles of colour. c1820

The piece is in very good condition other than a dirt filled nick which may have been caused by a long dead insect rather than a crack as it is irregular in shape. (see last photo)
