A wooden pin cushion clamp painted with stripes in the style of early 19th century 'Painted Tunbridge Ware'.
The urn shaped pin cushion has a small green label printed with the words 'A Present from Brighton'. The brown silk covered cushion is the original.
Condition- there are no cracks or repairs but there is a small round flaw filled with varnish and another much smaller one on the opposite side of the urn. Probably a natural flaw in the wood which has become more obvious over the years. The original black painted line runs through the middle of it still.
