A commemorative silver capped thread waxer. The ends are embossed with a rose, shamrock and thistle which are the symbols for England, Ireland and Scotland. This design appeared on many pieces of silver around 1838 which commemorated the coronation of Queen Victoria in that year-they were woven into her coronation robes.
