Two small, novelty pin cushions- one in the form of a kettle and the other a teapot. They are Tunbridge Ware. The body of each is the same made up of triangles of alternate light and dark woods and have identical magenta / purple velvet cushions.
The kettle has a handle and spout whereas the teapot has a disc handle, spout and three bun feet.
NB. They are slightly larger than is usual and paler in colour which suggests a late Victorian / early Edwardian date for their manufacture rather than mid 19th century.
Kettle 5 x 5cm (not including the spout).
The teapot 5 x 2cm
In excellent condition- no damage.
