A small silver buckle with steel chape and prongs. The frame only has one silver mark and that is the lion passant-but only its feet as it is only partly on the silver!
The steel prongs wrap around a central pin which is an early feature. The piece is decorated with C scrolls similar to the top of an Ionic column. c1800.
