A mother of pearl case for needles with a gilt band and gold shield insert.
The piece is in good condition- no damage.
NB. There are some marks on the back which are partly a natural flaw in the shell but also where the inside has been cut rather too close to the surface which shows as an outline on the outside. The front and inner sleeve are fine.
