A small French silver gilt needle case decorated with ribbons and shells. The inner sleeve is stamped with two boar's heads- the petit guarantee marks for French silver. c1870
A useful small size at 6cm in length and less than 1cm at its widest.
In excellent condition- some loss of gilding on the base section through handling over the years.
