A Georgian red leather case with two slim inside slots and room for a comb. c1815.
The little pockets could have taken a toothpick and possibly a bodkin. The larger area is too narrow to hold any of the eye glasses I have in stock so a comb is the most likely. The sides do expand a little but whatever it took had to be fairly flat.
In excellent condition- no damage and the silver spring catch is working.
