An attractive pearl tape measure made up of two discs joined by rigid brass 'beaded' columns. English c 1850.
The pale blue silk ribbon, which is wound by a pearl knob, now starts at about 3 inches.
In good condition-no damage but with chips on the base made during manufacture where the columns are fixed.
