An engraved mother of pearl needle book. The two covers are decorated in a leaf and star design around the edge. Both sides are identical. c1850
The spine and ties are in slightly yellowing mauve silk. Inside the cloth for the needles is a replacement the original having disintegrated due to moths.

5 x 4cm
In excellent condition- no damage to the covers and the silks are intact.
