An attractive pair of Regency silver handled scissors. The finger rings are the body of a snake with it's head biting into a bunch of grapes which decorate the rest of each handle. The steel blades are protected by a silver sheath embossed with leaves and grapes. c 1830
The scissors are in excellent condition- no damage and they will cut but the sheath has lost the tip on one side. ( see last photo )
